Is there a minimum number of users that I need to signup for your service?No, there is no minimum. You can select appropriate plan for your company based on different features. Do we need to have a domain name to use PacHosting Hosted Exchange Service?You can choose to use either your own domain name or our assigned subdomain for the Hosted Exchange Service. If we use PacHosting assigned domain, can we reply email using our own email address?Yes, we have an option in control panel for you to define the email address you used for sending out email. What do I need to be able to use the PacHosting Hosted Exchange service?
Can I synchronize my email, contacts and calendar with my PDA, Pocket PC, Smartphone?Yes, for PDA Phone and Smartphone running Windows Mobile 5 or 6, or other device that are compatible with Exchange ActiveSync, you can synchronize your device data directly with our Exchange Server by connecting to Network. You can also synchronize your device data indirectly by connection to Microsoft Outlook. Once your MS Outlook is setup to connect to MS Exchange, you will be able to synchronize your contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with your mobile devices. What is the attachment size limit?You can define the attachment size limit in our control panel. Not all users under our domain need to use Hosted Exchange service. Can we subscribe some users under Hosted Exchange Plan while subscribe Email Hosting plan for other users?Yes, that is possible. We would set up your domain such that some users would access Hosted Exchange service for their email while others access POP3 mailboxes. Does PacHosting Hosted Exchange mailboxes support POP3 and IMAP?Yes, our mailbox supports POP3 and IMAP. Do you limit the number of messages being sent and received in Push Mail service?No, there is no limit in the number of message being sent and received. I've heard about some Port 135 problem and connecting to MS Exchange server over the Internet. Is it a problem if my ISP blocks Port 135?Most home ISPs now block Port 135 as a result of the MS Blast Worm in August, 2003. In Our Hosted Exchange Service, we provide “Outlook Anywhere” feature for connecting to the Exchange Server, which is not affected by this issue. You can use this feature if your computer is running Windows XP SP2 or above. We also provide VPN access to get around this issue seamlessly if you are using Windows 2000 or below.
